Phoenix defender signs with Auckland United FC

Goal scoring Wellington Phoenix defender Marisa van der Meer has signed with Auckland United FC for the remainder of the 2023 season.

Fresh after re-signing with the Phoenix to play again in the ALW, Marisa joins the Premier Women’s squad at a crucial stage of the season and we’re very pleased to have her on board.

This weekend our Premier Women are back in action at Waikaraka Park where we will play host Northern Rovers in Round 11 of the Lotto NRFL.

Waikaraka Park will act as our home ground while the Football Ferns utilise the Keith Hay Park pitch and facilities during the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
