Our Vision
To be the best football club in New Zealand
We Love Football
Auckland United’s philosophy on junior football is to ensure that they are in a fun and safe environment. As Jonah Cruyff once said, “Football has to be fun for kids, otherwise it doesn’t make sense.”
We strive to create an environment where our kids are taught to be respectful of themselves and others in player-centred, developmental conditions.
Our community is built on the foundations of positivity and inclusivity and we commit to creating an environment where kids can grow regardless of their race, culture, religion, gender, ability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or social status.
We commit to enhancing the growth of skills, providing quality football development opportunities, and developing player confidence, all while establishing a fun, community environment.
Auckland United Club History
Auckland United FC was formed in 2020 after a joint venture between neighbouring clubs Three Kings United and Onehunga Sports FC was approved by members in late 2019.
Three Kings United Football Club (TKU) was formed in 1997, through the amalgamation of Eden Football Club and The Mt Roskill Football Club. This amalgamation immediately created the largest football club in New Zealand and arguably the largest team sports club in New Zealand. The club has achieved 2400 registered players with over 1900 of those under the age of 18 in the past.
Overall the club engages with approximately 7,000 people in the Roskill, Eden, Mt Albert community, including friends and families of playing members.
Auckland United FC Values
We will respect everyone through our communication, conduct, and play.
We will bring enthusiasm, energy, passion, and excitement to all that we do.
We will strive for and deliver excellence and professionalism at all levels.
We will be united together by embracing, serving, and connecting our communities.
