Men’s players departing Auckland United FC

Auckland United FC would like to thank the following players for their contributions over the past seasons as they move on from the club.

Will Stephen

One of our Auckland United "originals" we would like to wish Will Stephen all the very best as he moves on from the club. With 83 games Will sits second on the ladder (current squad) for all time appearances for Auckland United FC, and we thank him for all his efforts and the mark he has left on the club.

Zach Chung

We would like to wish Zach Chung all the best as he makes the move south to Manurewa AFC for the rest of the season in search of more regular game time. An AUFC Academy Graduate and part of the Auckland United FC program since the age of 8, Zach made his way through the junior and youth pathway at the club and has been part of the Men’s Premier Team over the past 2 season’s where he has racked up 29 appearances.

Semi Nabenu

We would like to wish Semi Nabenu all the best as he has joined Birkenhead United for the remainder of the season. With 32 appearances for Auckland United FC Premier Mens the Fijian U23 International, Semi was yet another academy graduate to make the step up to first team football.

Josh Tollervey

After joining us at the start of this season, unfortunately we have to say goodbye to Josh Tollervey who has moved back down to Wellington to be with his family. Josh made a big contribution since joining the club scoring 7 goals. We wish Josh all the best on his return to the Capital.

Kazik Swain

Since joining us at the age of 12, Kazik has progressed through the AUFC pathway up to the Men's First Team training environment. A key piece of our U23 team, Kazik was also part of the title winning U17 National Youth League squad last year in Wellington. After returning from an injury midway through this season we have worked with Kazik to look for more Senior playing opportunities for the rest of the season and we wish him all the best at Metro AFC.

Astor Baldini

joined us in 2023, Astor has been an ever present in our U23 team and part of the first team training environment. Astor has made the decision to look for more senior playing opportunities for the rest of the season and we have worked with him in moving back to Ellerslie AFC where we wish him all the best.

Dejaun Naidoo

After joining us in 2023 Dejaun progressed quickly through our U17 team into our U23 team and training full time with our Premier Men's Team, at this midway point in the season Dejaun has decided to head across town to Eastern Suburbs AFC for the rest of the season.
