2024 National League Championship Fixtures Announced

Fixtures for the Men’s and Women’s 2024 National League Championship have been revealed, with the season kicking off on Saturday, September 28.

The opening round sees our 2023 Women’s Champions, Auckland United FC, visiting Waterside Karori, while the men’s title holders, Wellington Olympic, will face first-time qualifiers Coastal Spirit.

Aotearoa New Zealand’s top domestic football competition includes 10 regional teams for each gender, competing over nine rounds for a chance to reach the Grand Finals and claim national glory.

All matches in the National League Championship 2024 will be broadcast live and free on FIFA+, with highlights available on the New Zealand Football YouTube channel.

For the women’s competition, the teams are: defending champions Auckland United FC, West Coast Rangers, Eastern Suburbs, and Western Springs (Lotto NRFL); CF Waterside Karori, Wellington Phoenix Reserves, and CF Wellington United (Capital Football); Central Football; Canterbury United Pride; and Southern United.

In the men’s competition, the teams include: Auckland City FC, Western Springs, Eastern Suburbs, and Birkenhead United from the Northern League; defending champions Wellington Olympic, Western Suburbs, Napier City Rovers, and Wellington Phoenix Reserves from the Central League; along with Cashmere Technical and Coastal Spirit from the Southern League.

In addition to the senior leagues, the Youth National League will take place this spring, with the boys’ edition already in progress and the girls’ competition starting this weekend.
