Oli Fay makes NZ squad for FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina

Former Auckland United Player Oli Fay makes New Zealand squad for 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentine.

Former Auckland United FC player and junior coach Oliver Fay has been selected to represent New Zealand at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina, which kicks off on 21 May.

Oli joined the Auckland United FC Academy programme at age 8 before progressing all the way through to the Auckland United FC Premier Men’s side, where he debuted in 2021 at age 17.

A standout in the inaugural New Zealand Football National League and the FIFA U20 World Cup qualifiers, Oli has also been an excellent junior coach and a great role model for the aspiring youngsters at Auckland United FC.

We wish Oli the very best for the upcoming challenges ahead in Argentina as the NZ U-20 side take on the world.
