Auckland United FC U11 and U12 teams shine at tournament

The Auckland United FC U11 and U12 tournament was played last Sunday with two Auckland United teams entering.

Both teams did extremely well with the U11 team making the secondary plate final and only just losing out on the trophy via penalties!

The U12 team started the day strongly and never looked back winning every single game they played and only conceding in one of their games.

After beating Birkenhead in the final 2-0, Auckland United FC manager Ben Abele said “this was one of the best groups I have ever had the privilege of coaching, an awesome day all round”.
