Auckland United FC to face CF Waterside Karori in Grand Final

Alexis Cook and Charlotte Roache celebrate a 2 - 1 victory over Souther United FC that has seen them qualify to defend their title in the 2024 National League Championship Grand Final.

With just one round remaining in the National League, we’re thrilled to announce that Auckland United FC has secured their spot in the Grand Final on Sunday, December 1st, at North Harbour Stadium.

Under the guidance of head coach Ben Bate, Auckland United has shown once again why they’re the team to beat. With the knowledge that a draw at home against Southern United would be enough to seal their place in the final, our players kept their cool and delivered a dominant performance at Keith Hay Park. A 2-1 victory, with both goals coming from our prolific striker Charlotte Roche, was all we needed to secure our place in yet another Grand Final and give ourselves the chance to defend the title we won in 2023.

As we now look ahead to the big day, we’re focused and determined to take on the challenge in front of us. The Grand Final will be a chance for our talented squad to build on the success of last season and show the strength, teamwork, and resilience that has brought us this far.

Our opponents in the Grand Final will be CF Waterside Karori, who have had a strong campaign of their own and with whom we drew 1 - 1 back in Round 1. With tickets now available for the Grand Final, we invite all our supporters to join us at North Harbour Stadium for what promises to be an unforgettable clash.

Tickets for the Grand Finals, covering both the women’s and men’s matches, are available now via Ticketek. We hope to see you there, supporting Auckland United FC as we aim to make history once again.
