Auckland United FC sign Codey Phoenix
Codey Phoenix joins Auckland United FC from Birkenhead United.
Auckland United FC is pleased to announce the signing of Codey Phoenix.
Codey who spent the last two season at fellow Northern League club Birkenhead United came through the ranks at East Coast Bays where he made his first team debut in Division 1 at the age of 15.
Head Coach José Figueira is delighted to have Codey join the club “Codey is a talented young footballer who at the young age of 17 has already amassed great experience at both Northern and National League level over the past couple of seasons.”
“A real technician and good football brain Codey gives us another dynamic in wide and centrals areas. He’s fitted in very well with the group and has shown a real appetite to give his all for the club and help us achieve our goals”.
Codey fills our final U20 squad place and we can’t wait to see him in action out on the pitch soon.
